Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has been having a problem with accessing their account page with amazon? Everytime I try to either check out or leave seller feedback, my computer freezes as soon as I click on those links. Please, let me know if you've had this problem and how you fixed it
Thanks,
Jen
Does this only happen with amazon? Believe it or not, using CCleaner from CCleaner.com can really help. I have had a problem with one sight shutting downIE and causing errors and running CCleaner helped elliminate this. I would suggest trying the standard sstuff clearing temp files, cookies, and history to see what happens. I am sure you've heard that one before but it can also help.
ok well I went ahead and emptied my cookies and history etc. but no luck. As soon as I click on a link on my account page. Bam! it just stops working. I don't understand it. I also can't check out, because the same damn thing happens when I click on the proceed to checkout button. I just don't know what to do.
oh yeah, and amazon is the only site where I'm having this problem
I'm having issues with amazon as well. I need to update my address and card on file but there is something up with the account page. i click the links but it doesn't allow me to save the info i edit. Also, I tried the text based amazon site but on there, you can't edit your account info for some reason. It's quite frustrating.
ah sorry that your having trouble but I'm glad I'm not the only one. Misery loves company. smile
Well I've worked out a solution for this. With my problem, I've found that when I click on a link on my account page, I have to press shift enter, even though this opens the page in a new window, it still works. And I was having a similar problem as you were, though mine was with trying to send an e-mail to a seller. I had to position the pc cursor over the send button and the route jaws cursor to pc and left click. Because if I just tried to press the send button, it wouldn't send the information, it would reset the page. Weird, but even though this is a pain in the ass to do, it's working so far.
I hope that helps you out.
